Newborn photos

I was not aware that there was a national preemie day. I have two preemie girls and today they are a month old. Harper and Olivia were born at 33 weeks. It was out of my control and if I could have carried them full term I can promise you I would have. I don't think people fully understand how scary it can be going into labor before the you're babies are fully ready. I am very thankful for how well my girls progressed. Both of them are home now and are doing so well. They are getting chunky and are so full of life and personality. They are such stong little girls. Here are some pictures to show you just how far my girls have come since they were born.

Harper born at 4 punds 4 ounces. Now 5 pounds 14 ounces.

Olivia born at 3 pounds 13 ounces. Now 4 pounds 7 ounces.

I sure love my little girls! I can't believe how lucky I am to have them! Sometimes I just lay there staring at them and can't help but cry because I am just so happy. It has been such a long journey for me to even get pregnant. I have experienced two losses and infertility. I know am so glad I never gave up on the dream I had of being a mother even though there were so many nights I wanted to give up. I really thought I would never get to raise a baby of my own. I am so blessed to be the mother of these two sweet little girls. Everything I went through to get to where I am today was completely worth it.
