Family

Tonight I went and put flowers on my grandparents grave in Lewiston, Utah. All I could think about was how thankful I am for what they are have done for me. I don't remember my Grandma Nola very much she passed away when I was five. I have always herd amazing things about her. My Grandpa Calvin was a good man He remarried a wonderful lady who is my Grandma and I love dearly. I am so thankful for her. I remember always  going over to his house and he would be sitting at the head of the table playing Solitaire. He loved that game.  My grandpa is from Preston (where we live now) So for the past few years I have been able to put flowers on their grave. Today I went and put flowers out and just couldn't help but feel completely thankful for what they did for my dad. They took him in when he was in High School and adopted him. If it wasn't for the kindness they showed my dad in his time of need I wouldn't have the family I have today. I wouldn't have known what it was like to grow up with Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, and Cousins. For that I am so thankful. My mother left when I was six years old so her family left with her. I am not close with them just occasionally I will hear from them. I am much closer to my dads adoptive family. They are who I call when I need advice or just want to talk. I just couldn't be more thankful for my Grandpa and Grandma Cole. They have done more for me than they will ever know. Because of their kindness and open hearts I have a family. Because of them my dad has a family.

Today is a day to remember those who have passed. We went to Brigham and watched Grandpa Beecher sing in a chior program at the cemetery. It was nice to see so many people honor the people who have died for us and have impacted our lives in a way we can never fully understand. I am grateful for my dad for serving in the Navy and my brother for serving in the Army but Today is a day to honor and remember  those who lost their lives for us. I am forever grateful for them and their families.

Our good friends Shawn and Gina had their baby girl the other night and we were lucky enough to get to go meet this sweet little girl. She was only a few hours old and so perfect!!! 

Sometimes Michael and I jump on one bike and go for rides around the block.  Its nice having a good relationship after all these years. He's my person.
