Being Right

Monday, January 27, 2014

I love to be right. Especially when it comes to things with Michael. When we don't agree and I won't back down he usually just "let's" me be right. I however like to think I am always right! The other day we had a conversation and a certain subject and I told him over and over again he was wrong and even explained to him how he was wrong. It was another stupid thing I had to be right about. I wasn't about to say " sure babe, your probably right" those words rarely come out of my mouth. Well today I checked the mail and I as looked through it I found something that proved Michael was right. I couldn't help but feel my confidence slip away. I was so mad that I was wrong and refused to even let myself think I could be wrong that an idea popped into my head. I felt bad for refusing to listen to him but not bad enough that I wanted to know what he was right about. We have conversations about things that turn into who's right and who's wrong more than once a week so I knew if I told him he was right about something it would make me feel better but also not give him the satisfaction of knowing what he was right about. He reads our blog so obviously I am not going to type what he was right about either!

Needless to say he's been dying to know what subject he turned out being right about and I'm enjoying the fact that he will never know!

It's been a pretty fun day. Our conversations have been filled with very
serious talk. Haha.

I also made my first blanket on my sewing machine today! Holy cow it was not as east as I thought it would be! I think it turned out okay! I had to sew each strip of fabric together it wasn't just two pieces of fabric sewed together. So it was much more time consuming that's for sure!

Just a little update: we will be picking up boston in a little over a week and then Michael and I will be driving a uhaul back to AZ. I'm not excited to drive that again but at least I'll get to sleep!  Pretty excited to get to see Boston and take more funny pictures! :)

Much love, Tonya
