Highs and lows

Tuesday, July 15, 2014

I have been pregnant for 20 weeks now. I've been showing enough for people to know I'm pregnant without me telling them for about 4-5 weeks now. Before I just looked really bloated or just got done eating a three course meal. If we are being completely honest there are a lot of highs and lows to pregnancy. Which I'm finding out more and more each week that passes. Let me start by telling you the List of lows.

• Everyone has an opinion about every thing I eat or activities I choose to do while carrying my littles.

• The farther along you get the harder it is to get a good nights sleep. I toss and turn all night long. I usually have to get up walk around let the babies get situated off of my tiny organs. Or sleep sitting up to relieve the pressure off my kidney stone filled kidney.

• No quick fixes to health issues ( which is hard on anyone).

Now to get to the good part of pregnancy!

• Now that strangers can tell I'm pregnant I get called Ma'am ALOT! I know most women don't like that but since I've never been called that before I like it!

• I get to cut in line. Especially when waiting in line at the restoom a lot more! People don't even hesitate to say " Here Ma'am you go ahead"

• Pregnacey parking stalls! You betcha I use that stall now every chance I get. When Michael And I were trying to get pregnant and I would pass that stall at the store I always thought how awesome it would be to not have to park clear out in the boonies for a change. Especially in this AZ heat! ( or you could just say I'm super lazy)

• If I decided to eat a whole lot more than any girl should no one looks at me funny they usually just smile and I get to continue stuffing my face with out any shame!

• Michael is super awesome! If I get upset over something stupid or get mad at him because I'm hungry he doesn't get mad or frustrated back he will just simply do what he can to deal with it or feed me! It's a high now because he does it with a funny smile on his face...  Instead of the look I usually got which was the famous  "stop being a girl" look that most men give us when we act completely strange.

• People notice I'm pregnant now and always ask how far along and lately I've been getting the shocked look and the " Now way" response when I tell them I'm 20 weeks with twins! They are so surprised I'm not showing more. Which if I'm being honest makes me feel better because most days I have a hard time just getting up when laying in bed or looking down and seeing my belly button poking out ( who knew that was even possible). It puts such a big smile one my face when people tell me how good Pregnacey looks on me. Especially when I do not feel that way at all!

• feeling the my littles kick! Oh my gosh can you think of a better feeling because I can promise you i can't! I absolutely love feeling those kicks! Yesterday I watched really close to where one little girl was kicking and saw my belly ripple! Oh man I love their little kicks!!!

Sorry for the super long post! But I've been awake since 5am so finally I decided to blog instead of staring at the wall or stalking people on Facebook & Instagram :)

Here are a few pictures I've taken lately!
