Flood

We have had our first flood. Yes I did something to the washer and It flooded our entire apartment! I was doing laundry and put the last load in and went to finish watching Grey's Anatomy (you can understand why it took so long to notice my apartment flooding)When I finally realized that the washer was still running when it should have stopped.. Sure enough I jumped off the bed and the at least and inch and a half of water everywhere. Luckily it didn't ruin anything The carpet however is having a hard time drying. I called Michael this morning and asked him what I should do and he said just use the vacuum. I told him over and over it wouldn't work because we didn't have the right kind of vacuum.. I tried to tell him we needed to rip up the carpet but he didn't like that Idea.. So I told him I would figure out how to fix the wet carpet issue.. So I tore up the carpet and used an air mattress pump to dry it. Michael was very impressed!

Michael sent this to me the other day.. I think it fits us pretty well. And Michael thought of it not me! 

I also signed Michael up for another 5K. The Color or Dye, I am more excited about this than the hike one! Michael I'm not sure is too happy about having two to run now :) Thats really all I have for today! Short and sweet.
