Hawaii

Wednesday, January 30, 2013

So I have heard a lot of different things about Hawaii. Up until I met Josh Ebanez I had always heard good things. Ryan and Josh! came over the other night and informed me that the town we will be living in is full of gangs. Gang central. Told me about shootings and drugs all kinds of things he thought would be funny to tell me. Little does he know I take everything people say serious and have not been able to stop thinking about it. He also kindly reminded me of tsunamis. If you don't know what that is here is the definition

**is a series of water waves caused by the displacement of a large volume of a body of water, typically an ocean or a large lakeEarthquakesvolcanic eruptions and other underwater explosions (including detonations of underwater nuclear devices), landslides, glacier calvingsmeteorite impacts and other disturbances above or below water all have the potential to generate a tsunami.[3

Well for one  I can't swim. I've taken lessons and I try like hell It just doesn't work. My biggest fears are Oceans, Hurricanes and sharks. Along with many others. So of course we are moving to Island Im all about facing your fears.. not. I really keep replaying in my head that I'm going to either get shot by a huge foreign guy or die by a shark bite. Better yet drown in a tsunami.  You know the usual things people think about when going to Hawaii. So here is my thank you to Josh for his comfort about Hawaii.

I think I will love walking the on the beach at sunset with Michael though. I will probably have a panic attack at the sight of large wave or any type of rain...  I have also heard today that baby powder helps the sand not stick to your skin as bad. I will be testing that theory out! I was also told to forget about your hair being the way you want it to and to just get use to it being flat or wavy. Hopefully Boston likes the Beach! I am happy to announce that while you guys are freezing I will be in  dresses and shorts! I will make sure to post lots of pictures just to rub it in!
