Back when Michael and were dating we went on a camping trip with his family for three days. It was so fun! So obviously we were not allowed to sleep in the same tent. On the first night we enjoyed spending time with the family. We all sat around the fire for a while talking. We were all heading to bed, Michael walked me to the bathroom. On our way back he jokingly looked at me and said "if I tap your tent twice means hello... If I tap it three times means I love you". I smiled and we both kinda started to laugh cuz I could tell Michael was feeling a little less manly I guess to say.
He never tapped on the tent. So I left it at that. It's just one of those things guys do that you don't really think twice about cuz they usually aren't being serious. Well the next day or so we were all talking and he grabbed my hand and squeezed it three times. I smiled and did it back. I could tell he was surprised I knew what he meant.
From that weekend on its been "our thing" . Whenever we are in a crowded place where you can't really talk he or I will squeeze a arm or hand three times. Even when we are home alone watching tv or just talking we will randomly do it. He squeezed my hand three time during our wedding ceremony. It's really a comfort thing now.
I don't ever want it to stop. I love it way to much! It brings back so many perfect memories. So that is "our thing". I really wanted to share! I'm not sure if it a secret thing or not... I guess I'll find out in the morning when he reads this post!
Another really weird/disgusting thing we do.. I could defiantly live without but can't stop... Sneezing on each other!! Weird right not sure how it got started. But anytime we are around each other and have to sneeze we make sure to do it on each other. In the car, walking, or in the store. Really anywhere! I did it not really thinking at his family thanksgiving!! It was a little weird they all laughed but I could tell they were like..really?!? I explained why I did it but that didn't seem to help much! Haha. I guess Michael and I are just a weird little couple! But we are a happy one that's for sure!!!
